It is a great honor for me and my family to be taking on the leadership role of Deer Valley Ranch now and into the future. I grew up in Nathrop and my parents still live there, and Laura and I had our wedding reception at Deer Valley Ranch after she spent a summer working for the Woolmingtons.

We love the Christian culture and rich legacy of the ranch. Our hope and prayer is that Deer Valley Ranch will continue to operate successfully as a family guest ranch in the summer and that we have lots of fun events, retreats, adventures, and opportunities for the rest of the year at Deer Valley Ranch. We also hope to open the ranch up to our local community as a place for fun, healing relationships, and awesome events.

We have an incredible team that will be led by Heath Wharton and his wonderful wife, Rachel. The Whartons are highly experienced at building a core group of people to love and serve guests. You’ll see other familiar faces greeting you at the ranch! We’re delighted that Big Dave will once again be bringing his wealth of knowledge and love for Deer Valley. Deb Wade continues to oversee bookkeeping and you’ll also see Jonathan Shea around.
