Description:

Located a short distance uphill from our pools, Tincup has a wonderful view of Mount Antero, one of the local 14ers, as well as a great view down the valley. One of the largest cabins on the ranch, the interior is ideal for families of all sizes with 6 individual beds (2 Master bedrooms) and living space for any family activities. Tincup is located just off the main drive and allows families to spend the week on one of the least traveled roads on the ranch and is perfect for two couples plus kids.

History:

Tincup was another mining town that has since become a ghost town. It was primarily a gold mining town and gained its name from the miners who would carry their gold around in tin cups. However, Tincup was the stereotypical old west town, with many honest sheriffs and good residents being run out of town or baited into deadly gun fights by the criminal underbelly. Tincup is now a summer recreational area with many remains of the original town refurbished and open to the public.
