Deer Valley Hot Springs Ranch, we want to become your base camp for amazing family adventures and memories that last a lifetime. While most outfitters are focused on selfies, Deer Valley Hot Springs Ranch is focused on your family relationships. Teach your children to ride horses, watch them rock climb with our experienced staff, participate in memory-making excursions with summit attempts on 14,000 foot peaks and know that the time and money you spend this summer will represent one of the greatest investments you can make.

Although Coronavirus has altered our traditional summer programming, you can still “Come be family” at Deer Valley Hot Springs Ranch this summer. With hot spring pools and jetted hot tubs, the Lickity Split Coffee & Ice Cream Shop, new sports courts, endless hiking trails and affordable accommodations all on our property, Deer Valley Hot Springs Ranch is your Adventure Basecamp for amazing experiences.
Additional adventures are available ranging from guided fly-fishing, ATVs, Jeeps, other rafting options, local guided hikes, mountain biking, adventure courses, and more. Out Concierge will help you coordinate activities with all our local outfitters at no additional charge!

Tuck yourselves away in the wilderness of the Colorado Rocky Mountains in cabins scattered throughout our 45-acre ranch. Privacy meets convenience in rustic Western accommodations in our open floor plans with multiple bedrooms and bathrooms, full kitchens, and spacious decks with jaw-dropping views. A three-night minimum stay might not be enough time to explore all Deer Valley Hot Springs Ranch and the Chalk Creek Valley has to offer! Our lodge rooms are perfectly suited for guests travelling solo and couples – some rooms even accommodate small families.
Our new multi-day adventure is for families interested in a backcountry summit attempt on a local 14er. If relaxing is more your style, then come sit by our hot springs-fed pools, enjoy a massage by our certified massage therapist, sip a coffee or iced drink, and watch your children play in crystal-clear spring water. Accommodations
Your resort accommodations at Deer Valley Hot Springs Ranch are different than virtually every other Colorado guest ranch with our offering of both lodge and cabins.
Cabins
Our cabins are spacious two, three or four bedroom vacation cottages (small homes, actually). Each mountain vacation cabin has a fully-equipped kitchen, living room/dining area, fireplace and deck with a view.
Lodge
When you stay in our simple lodge rooms you are right in the heart of the “old west” style of lodging. Downstairs from your room with private bath is the lodge lounge and fireplace, the front deck, and the ranch dining rooms.

Historical sites, cultural experiences, entertainment, and exploration await you in Chaffee County! From the nearby ghost town of St. Elmo to the quaint mountain towns of Buena Vista and Salida, there’s always something to explore.
